My complete redesign for HerbalDoc.com... Header is not finished yet...finding something attractive... feedback please

@badmasketa: Thanks for all your work. I like the modifications. However, without changing out the image in the header it's not exactly what I am looking for. If you are willing to make one more change you are welcome to use one of the images below. If not, I understand. Either way, I sincerely appreciate your work and design.

@Ace2016: The simplicity of this design is really good. I particularly like how you brought in the tree with the domain name by adding the hills. However, we still need to have the slogan, "Helping People Live Healthier & Longer", in the logo. A few suggestions with the overall design. Could you put a slender header beneath the top navigation (some suggested images are provided below). Also, could you move the Newsletter to the right side of the design, and add a vertical navigation (like wyngatecommons.com) on the left side. The final thing is to remove the green back ground (maybe use an off-white instead). Hope this helps, and thank you again, I do like your design.

@a4hire: Thanks! Centering the logo looks much better. No more changes needed. This design is also in the final running. As always thank you for working with me on the changes.

@itrnungs: Thank you for your submission. Your design is too dark. Also, I wouldn't use the green variant for the body. It makes the text hard to read.

@ritesh2408: It will be interesting to see what the design looks like with the header. Below are some pictures you are welcome to use. Overall, the design is too green. I would create additional white/open space and also tie the orange from the logo into more of the design.

 

I tried to take some ideas from some of the sites you listed. I hope you like it

did you want it to be a 3 column design? if so is there any specific width you had in mind?

@Dark Rider: Thank you for your submission, and also for trying to incorporate all my suggestions. For your first submission your design has had the least changes, so thank you again. Here are my suggestions:
1. Remove the "Advanced Search" anchored text.
2. Add an orange sub-bar to the Newsletter Sign-Up title.
3. Remove the "Weighing in" graphic in the sidebar.

I don't think it will be necessary to have a third column. It looks good.

@badmasketa: Thank you, this "final revision" is much more what I am looking for. No more changes needed. Your design has been added to the contest's finalist section.

Thanks for the feedback, the changes you requested and then some

I added a drop shadow around the design and changed the background from white to a light green color. I hope you like the changes but if not let me know

how am I standing compared to the others? (finalist or not)

UPDATE

I just spoke with the client and he stated he would have a decision for us by nine this evening (GMT -7). The designs that I sent over for the client to judge are from the following designers:

Stayed tuned for the final decision. Once I receive the design choice from the client I will post it here. As always, thank you everyone for working diligently with me in creating the right design for HerbalDoc.

I have one question.. I see some designs have content with product boxes and lastest products.. should I add stuff like that into my design as well?

 

No, because the design will be coded into a CMS, which allows the client to do those sort of things. I just need to show him that he has that capability.

Sorry I am an hour late announcing this. The client wanted to review a few things before making his decision. However, I want to thank everyone who stuck with me through this contest. I was a bit longer than 48 hours , but the client was quite happy with the results. For this contest I have awarded two runner-up designs $10. Again, I appreciate all those who entered and worked with me as we tried to come up with the perfect look for the new HerbalDoc.
