Does WordPress Adsense-ready templates work well?

I have built a blog on earning money online. WordPress is a popular system for bloggers, so do I. I hope my blog attract some quality and serious visitors, not only making money from adsense.
Many adsense-ready templates have the intension of attracting users clicking the ads. Some ads blocks are embeded into the content area.
Do you have experience of using these templates? What is your effect, for visitor feedback and profit both?

 

I am using prosense and it is very effective. Lowest CTR since january is 2.5% so far... always in between 4% to 5%

 

My personal opinion is to get a normal template and modify it to suit your needs.

Even if you are using an adsense ready theme, you can still customize it...

I use the adsense plugin, I blend my adsense to complement my site. I wish I could just narrow down what ads are performing. I don't quite have a handle on studying perfomance. Not sure what to look for.

but yeah I like the wordpress adsense plugin... You can tweak your stuff real fast and real easy... I don't cut and paste anything from adsense wordpress does it all.

 

One of my blog using ready template, but I have customized to get the best ctr, not yet match yet so far.
