Earning Image Hosting Site with HUGE Traffic, 365,338 UVs, 2.7 Million Page Views

Hi, i am selling one 9 months old image hosting site on behalf of my client today. this is a Image hosting site. the site is quite popular among forumers, image hosters, file hosters and what not. the said claims can be verified by the stats this site is getting for the past 9 months. The site currently hosts 6700+ images with 300+ registered members using the site on the regular basis, uploading images and posting in various forums/blogs and other sites too.

the site on an average gets 10k+ daily unique visitors consistently. past two months had been worse for the server company from where the hosting is taken. their servers went down quite frequently due to their own network issues and thus affecting site traffic and alexa ranking. Site has an Alexa ranking of just 15k and as of today, the site has an alexa rank of just 7k. such sites are cream of the net and are available quite rarely.

the site is currently earning 250 - 300$ per month from adbrite + paypopup. my client dont have much time though i have suggested him selling banner spaces and links on this site which may attract another 200 - 400$ per month easily as there are lots of people looking out for high traffic sites for their banner placements/links. if sold, i am sure the new owner can easilly sell banners/links on DP alone though other webmaster forum options are also available for him thereby making sites monthly income to 500 - 700$ with very less efforts.

the site currently uses around 220 MB disk space and it utilises 150 - 175 GB monthly data transfer and hosted on a reseller account. the new owner will be shifting site on his own server. the cpanel details will be provided to him after successful payments. currently the only expense with the site is hosting part for which my client pays around 35 per month.

domain is with livedomain.eu and will be freely pushed to new buyer's account. i have attached all related screenshots related to this auction like traffic , income and all. please dont ask for detailed referral screenshots as no image hosting owner would like to disclose his real traffic sources and my client is also no exception to this. only the new owner will got to know where this traffic is coming from and more details too.

The number of images hosted appears quite low, considering the traffic and income you are getting, can you please explain this?

As hostbidder, I also have concerns regarding the amount of users and images hosted + bandwidth usage, things should be considerably higher considering the amount of page views and including the ranking you have given us.

 

no the site is different from my signature. i have sent you pm with all details and i am explaining your questions here as some more members might have same question in their minds.
image hosting sites gets visitors via uploading images and posting them on forums. now it depends on people's likings how many people like the topics and watch those images. if image is popular enough, like say princess Diana crashes and expires in a car accident and some of your site user or you yourself are one of the quickest persons to upload those unique images on your site and posted in on various forums then? can you imagine the avalanche of traffic on your site?
in short i have told you one of the traffic secrets of image hosting sites too.
