Confusion with my PR

Hi,

I am working on Indian Singles dating site from one months.

Just after google PR update in last July, home page of this site is same as past, means show not index till now, but inner page have PR 2.

Is it possible ........ i am confused

Is it Fake PR?

Inner page Url : http://www.indiansingles.co.in/news.php?view=1 PR = 2.

I am using Google Toolbar to check PR.

Please guide me.

If inner page have PR 2 then why homepage is not indexed with SE till now ?

Is it due to very low quantity of texts in homepage ?

i am having the exact same problem with a site i created.. the homepage is still not cached after 4 weeks of launch, but the inner pages are mostly cached and have PR3.

But, i'm sorry, i dont have an answer to why this can happen.. maybe someone can shed some light?

 

i think the inner pages has more content? im not sure too but that was what came in my mind... i have the same problem too...

 

are your pages liked with each other? (internal linking)

 

my pages are all linked to each other in the main nav.. and yes, there is more content on the inner pages

 

yes it is possible depending on it's contents and how it is being crawled.

PR Rank drops due to weak Link Building.
I think u may done improper link building.
Are u doing reciprocal linking??..If u were doing try to remove unrelated Links.
And do not accept links with low page ranks.
or if you were not doing link building...try to do one-way linking with quality links.so that we can expect better page rank .

** Google concentrate on quality back links & Yahoo concentrate on Content.

Now i think show because at homepage there are very less contents 80% part full fill by picture and inner pages have enough contents

I think according to some member opinions it can be main reason of this.

Google's PR is page based not site based, the main site has more high PR backlinks then the other that is the reason for the difference.

 

i think there are more backlinks for the inner page than the index page pal,

 

do you use a sitemap ? if not, make one and ping google regularly.

it also seems you are using a backlink directory, if you can do without, do without.

In case of backlinks, all backlinks are pointing homepage till now because i am submitting link of homepage only till now.

I think text quantities are main reason of difference of PR between homepage and inner pages.

Set up google webmaster tools, as it can show you all the links going to the site also internal pages. This way you can check to see how many links you have going to homepage and internal page.

 

So, that means if I have no quality back links (how many is needed?) then it's impossible to get google PR?
