Problem in withdrawing money from paypal

Hello pals,

I'm facing this problem recently. I did a withdraw on July 3rd and one on July 4th from paypal to my Canara bank account (TN, India). I've done this many times and haven't faced any problems before. But this time, I'm yet to receive funds in my account. When I contacted the bank, since they don't know about paypal, they are saying "no funds received sir" . I wrote to paypal 4 times. No response for the past 2 mails to them. The total amount is INR 18.5K ($450). This is my hard earned money for my education purposes. Now, I'm stuck. Can someone please tell me what to do?

 

What's showing in your paypal transiction?
Is it shows transfer done or in pending status?
If it shown pending then wait , untill it arrive.
If it shows transiction done then , call paypal representatives (effective than email)
Recheck whether you have provided correct details about bank.
Go to bank and update your Passbook or just make a printout of ministatement from ATM.
Ask bank customer representatives whether you need to do anything for accepting NEFT(National Electronic Funds Transfer).
Or ask whether you got any Electronic transfers or not.
If problem persists try to contact Canara bank branch manager.

1. It shows completed.
2. I tried calling paypal; Unfortunately, the number mentioned on their site is for US residents alone. I can't find one for Indians
3. I rechecked more than thrice.
4. I went to bank, spoke to all the people in respective department and all replied, "Sir, we can transfer you funds if we received. It should've stuck somewhere. Please find where it is"
5. I've updated my passbook and checked ATM as well.

any other solutions mate?

 

Today is 19th business day buddy. I used to receive funds in my account on the 3rd or 4th day itself. I'm sooo much worried about this

 

Bit strange,normally it takes max of 5 days for bank transaction,but i have read about few people receiving funds after 2-3 weeks,good option will be to call them up.

 

Do anyone have their customer care number? (for India). I tried, but couldn't found

 

Try to call paid number , its a matter of money.

 

Just be patient.. i received my last withdrawal in 10th day..

 

Yes now only this will help.You need to call the paypal.

 

I think you should wait a bit, because at times they do tend to become extremely busy as they are a huge company, so they may not have had the time to process your money.

 

First you contact Admin of Paypal.
and wait for reply.
I use this type of transaction and it is added in 6th day in my bank account.

Hi all, I called paypal. A paypal representative told me to FAX my bank statement from July 1 to July 31, gotta do that on Monday. Thanks for your suggestions mates. Will update this thread as soon as things move on...

 

Well you did a good job and now sent the bank statments so they will verify it and send your payment in your bank account.

 

narayananblaze even i have faced this problem with my bank account in DCB Bank . But now i withdraw money via check and always get it in between 15 to 18 days . So don't waste time and go for check option .

 

Actually they send payments via NEFT which will be routed through RBI.. and after manual verification (approval) only the funds will be transferred.. So only it takes time of 1-2 working days even after the funds are transferred from the sender.. Sometimes (ONE TIME HAPPENED TO ME from ICICI TO SBI) the payment doesn't arrive and we need to complain about the same then they check with the tracking transaction number and then enable the transaction again..
