Remember, reciprocal links are fine as long as they are very relevant to your site, I've checked yours and most of them are fine except for one or two. Only reciprocate with very closely related sites and high quality sites, one of your outbounds is going to a btinternet hosted site, I would drop that one. Do a link audit and make sure every outbound links to a quality page!
The unfortunate truth of the matter is Google is not longer a couple of nerds in a University office trying to make thier serach algo bring up better results. It is much more than that. In a design theme kinda way this is a perfect exapmle of when more is in fact less.
oH!! My God... M just keeping my fingers crossed... hope nothing like this ever happens to me or any body... imagine its sooooo unpredictable and you don't even know what went wrong... as you mentioned you changed titles little bit... may be it has something to do with that...
hey y not alter the titles back to what they were... and see if something improves... just a trial though... as none of us know what could be done about this ....
Hi there I think we have all been thru this, i experianced exactly the same with one of my sites, and i belive this user has made a good call here, i had over 32 recipricol links to my site, i removed them and got it down to 10, my site more or less climbed over night, so i would trim these down as recipricol linking isnt as effective as it used to be. Also your title isnt very strong, shorten it make it more relevant concentrate on a few keywords, the best keywords, its better to target a few good keywords strongly rather than tryed to target a whole bunch of words half heartedly. You can target other keywords later. Woc
Titles have always been an issue to googles algo and always will be imo. But try to keep your users in mind when you are writing them. This is the first thing a user who comes to your page will see. If the title does not make sense to the user it might also be the last thing they see, as they click off your page and go somewhere else to buy. With tis in mind make it readable without stuffing keywords in it. Make your titles useful and informative. If there happens to be a useful and informative keyword in there so be it. Google however can see you as gaming them if you change all your titles. Flags will be up on your site in their algo if you do this. Think about titles from the perspective of how useful to is it to my users and does it reflect my content honestly. You cant go wrong with that.
I don't think there is any problem with the titles (only had a look at a couple) Just make sure there are no duplicates. Like with your descriptions. "What do you remember about the 70's, 80's and 90's? Share your memories of your favourite 80's TV shows, 80's movies, 80's music and 80's toys and games." Same one on every page! I would change that first and make each description relevant to each page.. see if it makes any differance... and also what gnarlysurfer said. BTW, Groovy site man Cheers James
You should insert a nofollow tag in those links. That way Google won´t think that they are paid of something like that.
