Hi, I just sent myself $400 via Xoom. I sent the funds to Xoom via paypal and selected Instant Cash as payment pickup method. How much time will they take to process the payment and send the payment pickup instructions ? Thanks.

I think it depends on your friend's country of residence,xoom do not have pick up option for all countries.
I think cash pickup is not allowed in Xoom if you send money in your own country from your paypal account. You need to select bank transfer or check delivery option for that in xoom. DON.
Got this message: Xoom.com has refunded this transaction, as the intended money transfer has been identified as Intra-India, which is not permissible by Indian law. Waiting for the refund. I used bank transfer option earlier, will use it again.
As i said earlier that if you use bank transfer or check delivery as disbursment option then no problem at all for intra-india transaction. Cash Pickup not allowed for intra-india transaction. DON.
