StumbleUpon Question?

    Hi there

I wasnt sure where to post this so here seamed good :p

I have submitted my site to stumble upon and have an amazing amount of hits from it, form only one "thumbs up".

I have seen advertised people offering free stumbles and also people selling large amounts of them.

If I get more "thumbs ups" and more reviews, what will that give me?

    Thanks,

    Josh

    Yeah, but how?

Will my site appear above sites with less stumbles and reviews?

I think no one knows exactly how SU works. But if you get many thumbs up, your page will appear more often in front of the users. Just a guess though.

    That would make sense.

The popular pages stay on the top.

In that case report those threads as this is banned on DP

And as far as original ques is concerned...more reviews and thumbs up will give your site more exposure and thus i guess more hits :)

People at Stumble don't stay long in a website. They come and go very quickly. I haven't used Stumble for a long time. I prefer Digg.

I have looked over my traffic that I get from Stumble on one of my websites that seem to do well with it and as far as CTR it is about .5% CTR as well as average time stayed on site per user is 4.5 seconds which isn't good at all. It isn't bad as long as you don't get flooded with it because in my opinion it is then just a waste of bandwidth.
