A friend of mine has 3 CDs that he says are XP Professional.

My question is, what's on these cds and will these cds install XP Professional?

    Thanks in advance.

Well then u can trust its pirate if there just giving out software that's worth $$$.$$ range.

From my experience as a computer technician it is very hard to reuse a serial key without Microsoft marking it as pirate. In order to transfer a serial key this involves calling Microsoft.

    Surplus? I doubt it!

For government use only means simply for government use only. Surplus wise they are expected to account for it, either return or destroy it and not pass it around to friends or relatives. I have send a report to Microsoft Piracy and see what they say about it.

I don't think it's anything of use to me anyways, but I'm still curious.
