i've never paid for traffic but i'm assuming they just visit your site and leave without looking at it, so conversions will be basically nothing. i was wondering if there actually is any benefit to doing it?
It depends what type of buying traffic your talking about. If your talking about them buy 1 million visitors for $50 then yeah your wasting time and money however if your talking about pay per click campaigns they really are worth it if you have the time and money to invest in it.
Never get caught up with those websites that sell your traffic either. It's pointless and your just wasting your money there. Basically if they make your traffic dreams come true with $15.95, it's worthless, too good to be true.
yeah that's the kind i meant, like the kind of stuff you see in the dp marketplace. not ppc. i guess it might boost your alexa but thats about it?
Make sure the traffic you buy it's legit because many use boots to fill your logs. Usually this kind of traffic it's hard to convert. Like someone else stated it depends most on your product.
PPC (Google AdWords) is worth buying. As for the DP stuff, meh. That's just there for the people who are learning mainly. Some people still clamor over traffic numbers instead of cash in the bank account. It's like the guy who brags and brags about receiving 40 million Digg, etc hits. Then when you ask how much money was made, you hear crickets. Money people. Keep your eye on the prize.
i agree with the others.one million untargeted visitors are a waste of time.it will be beneficial to buy google ppc
PPC is your moneys worth but there is still other good advertising alternatives such as banners placed on the right site one that has everything to do with your niche. Also paying an article writer to write and submit custom matter can be beneficial.
Guys, I'm looking for some guys who got lots of freinds in myspace,orkut,facebook,hi5 etc......Looking for the marketing of a image scraps site. Try to provide me best solution. My website is www.orkut-scrapping.com
If you buy traffic it does not guaranteed good traffic and conversion as well. Conversion is based on your pay per click ads campaign.
There are some other factors that people could be over looking and that ishow good are your landing pages? I had purchased a 50,000 visitor package from someone a couple of years ago just to try it out. I actually set up two different landing pages to test them and found the one that made the most money. YOu can do this type of testing with AdWords as well but it can get very expensive. By purchasing the untargetted traffic this way, I was only out about $200 which I easily made back and I got to fine tune my landing pages.
To deal with adult traffic is always profitable, easy to find good traf. Now promoting casino Youspades, not so happy with traffic providers. PPC even worth, F.e. adbrite conversion totally sucked. Invested 1K$ got only 1 deposit.
So long as the traffic is generated by real humans, I'm willing to pay for it. But traffic has two faces: quantity and quality. Each has its own purpose. And we know it so well.
Buying traffic should be the end-game for anyone who wants to be a big time marketer. What's the point in buying traffic? There is one point that makes it all worthwhile: your traffic can be scaled instantly. If you know your keywords or your target individual, and you know you're going to get a 15% ROI on your advertising expenses, just spend $1,000 on advertising a day, or $10,000. 15% is 15%, regardless if you spend $100 or $10,000. Might as well spend more if you have things dialed in right. Things can change overnight though, so large scale paid-traffic campaigns must be watched like a hawk.
but don't you thin buying traffic can be useful in selling ad space?? although I haven't ever bought traffic and won't be doing that ever but the idea hit me if I regularly buy traffic then surely people will buy ad spots on my sites.. right?
