Anyone else running phpLD having issues with a constant barrage of spammy additions? I removed reciprocal and went with paid only in an attempt to reduce the number of spam submissions I have received, but somehow one of these bots is still hitting me with dozens of submits every single day. IP changes constantly as does URL. I'd love to know how others are handling the issue of spam submissions to directories.
Yes and its great for older versions of phpld I have upgrded a few sites and yet to get any spam with the newest script.. thx malcolm
I have his spam guard also on one of my directories and it works great on the others I just keep on deleting them
You can also always contact David over at phpld... he is amazingly responsive and would be able to point you in the right direction for sure.
