First off, I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum. I want to start selling horse racing picks on my website, http://www.gradedstakes.com/. Coming up with the product is no problem at all, but I really haven't got a clue how to get the product to the customer after he or she pays for it. The product will be text only, so I am thinking a simple email with the picks would suffice. I want it to be sent automatically after I have received the payment. Is this possible? Thanks!!
Setting up a free e-commerce site would probably be your best bet. xCart would be a good example, those are connected to paypal so that when the buyer pays for the item, picture in this case, it provides them with a temporary download link of three days or so.
Since I use Wordpress, I found this. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-e-commerce/ What do you think?
I suggest you to use PAID e commerce coz if you using a free plugin your site will look unprofessional
Some websites made with that plugin looks great. It all depends on how you are going to make your site look.
Yes, this a very good idea. I also use the same at our eBay stores. From this way nobody will say that you are using a Free one.
