Hello ,I am planning to invest money in promoting affiliates products,So what you think would be better option, which would give better ROI,outsourcing my articles work to article writer or using ppc to promote the product.

Which one will give higher net profit.

PPC because you can tweak and guide your success or failure.

When you outsource an article, you never know how many views/clicks you'll get and there's nothing you can do to change the outcome once it's done. It may be the best article in the world, but if it doesn't convert, it's a waste of money.

Probably outsourcing, because PPC will be much more expensive.

You have to test, test, then again test and track, before you campaign becomes successful. You will need quite a lot of money for that.

It depends. That's the only right answer anyone can give you.

Do you have a keyword list that is proven to give you a 300% ROI?

Do you know how to track and test keywords? What's your budget?

On the flip side, does your writer know how to write converting articles? Does he know how to target keywords on Ezine? Will visitors been enticed to visit your site after reading one of the articles?

It's not cut and dry. There are a million variables at work. The only way to find out is to try it.

If you don't understand PPC you'll probably burn money. If you hire a writer who can't write a converting article you'll definitely be burning money.

I would go for articles because they can last for years on the internet constantly bringing you in traffic, remember the aim of the article should be to get the surfer to your site where your SITE will convince the surfer to take action by buying or signing up etc so you get a residual effect long after the article has been written

PPC will only last as long as you have money to keep your ads up. Once you run out of money or stop your ads then the traffic stops, your ad will never be seen again unless you restart your campaign.

Yea,I even think outsourcing is a better option, and ofcourse with all the knowledge gain it wont be difficult to understand which style of articles writing converts well, you only need to guide the article writer on that line, and rest of work can be taken care of by him.
But ppc can prove really expensive if doesnt go well,An article written today can even generate traffic after 4 months ,but PPC money once gone gone for ever.

I don't want to contradict any of you who said otherwise, but its obvious that you are not informed enough about whats best roi - simply because thers no possible answer to that.

Its not possible to answer such a question for the simple reason that it depends on the skills of the individual - if someone is good at ppc and got the right product he can have a high roi. And if someone is good on article marketing he can get a high roi as well - the point is that any method whatsoever can yield a high roi if used correctly.

    I hope that helps.

    Cheers!

I would say to start out, that the articles would have a higher ROI, but after you refined your PPC campaigns, they would make more.

If your going to go into PPC ,make sure you know what your doing,(you may lose alot of money if you do not)and as for articles I myself personally have had some good traffic come from some designed with unique content.

i would go with cpc for quick bucks(if i understand my niche) then put small portion of my profit to invest in articles. However, i haven't done it yet cause i never tried "bum marketing". Anyway, how long or how much do u usually spend to get the result from articles?

Scottspfd82 is exactly right. There are so many variables that NOBODY on this board can answer this question for you accurately. It heavily depends on your skill set as well. The skill set required to be successful at PPC is different than article marketing.

I will say though that you can usually expect to cap out at a 200% ROI with article marketing, whereas PPC can go as high as 500% in my experience. Hope this helps.
