Great forum am learning everyday.. Firstly is it possible to make a full time living from affiliate marketing? How many hours a week are needed do you think to make say £1500 ($3000) per month. I am UK based so are there better affiliates to use than others because of this. I am familiar with html, website design and have used Ebay Epn for the last few months earning approx £50 ($100) per month from 2 Bans websites and promoting on forums. Do you think im qualified to take the plunge and go for it more seriously?..

Yes you can make a full time living from aff marketing. If you've got the balls to do it If you're already making $100 a month from 2 BANS sites, why not just create another 60 BANS sites? I know it sounds like overkill to have 60 BANS sites, but if you've got 2 sites making $50 per month each, why not just expand on the idea? Even if you buy 60 x $10 domains and run them off a reseller account, it's not a huge investment - and after you've covered the domains, you only need to make $50 per site, per month, to get your $3000. Or you could forget about buying the domains, and just run a crap load of subdomains. cars.blabla.com widgets.blabla.com etc... Take advantage of the unlimited BANS license, go nuts.
No.20 Many thanks, i must say your guide is great in that it actually tells you some useful information, will sign up to that affiliate and start promoting. Have not use Google ads because i was worried about any money i make will be paying for them. Will pm you with some questions later, thanks again. Kerosene, yes i have thought about doing more BANS sites but you have to promote them properly, which takes time, and i have heard that google are punishing BANS sites recently, i will do more Bans sites but i earned almost half my (small) income from direct links from forums rather than BANS. Don't give up your day job yet, there are many people who give up their job too early. Be careful, keep in mind that if anything changes in the Google algorithm and your sites don't get that many visitors from Google anymore, you're income will decrease rapidly. So try multiple things, have multiple source of CONSTANT monthly income, before you give up a job and go for it more seriously.
I agree with Jeremia. I had one site that was my biggest money maker, but then Google drop kicked it in the sandbox and my income took a serious kick in the balls. I've since learned from my mistakes, and I've diversified to 130 different sites covering pretty much everything you can think of. Now, if a site goes belly up for awhile, its no biggie, as I have replacements waiting in the wings. To answer your original question, can you make a full time living? Yes, you can, and I've been doing it for years BUT it will take a LOT of time to make it happen, and the full time day job might get in the way.

Yes, Yes and Yes. Plus, the nice thing about the UK is that keyword-rich domain names carry a lot more weight in Google's organic results in the UK than in the US.
Yes you can, If you are doing ok with those 2 sites you have just make more. It is all about more. Make 1,000 websites that can make you $2 a day each and you can be there. Take your time though do not jump into it right away. Have this going before you quit your day job. It is a tuff market so you have to bring your A game and work at it hard. Most people make the assumption I can make big monies with no effort. Though this can be true by dumb luck and coding knowledge it is really not the norm.
