I've noticed that for my niche, the amount per click has gone down the last couple of weeks. Yesterday it went down a lot. I keep ongoing records on a spreadsheet so I can tell that this has been happening over the past 2 to 4 weeks. Yesterday, though, was the worst day I've had in months as far as earnings per click is concerned. Also, does anyone notice that as the day goes on, the earnings per click goes down too? In the morning, I usually start pretty high and by evening there's a steady drop down.
Quite the opposite for me actually, my clicks have never been so good. A niche that generally has been getting me .10-.15 a click is getting .25-.50 now, I've had quite a few $1+ in the last few weeks too. I thought it was weird but I've got nothing to complain about
My clicks are all over the place. Your niche might be less competitive lately in terms of bidding on keywords.
exactly the same case for my websites. it's going on to july from the start of the month. smart pricing i guess
July and August are often poor months with Adsense (just like christmas, unless you have holiday related sites), just be patient, work on your sites and wait for september people.
well, after saying that my earnings per click have gone down the past month or so and Tuesday being the worst day ever, today i'm pace to have my best day ever - as far as earnings per click is concerned. it seems as though G sometimes just flips a switch and gives you more or gives you less. i know that a lot if it has to do with the ads on my site but the ads don't really change that much and with the number of clicks that i get, the epc wouldn't vary so much unless G had something to do with it - imo.
Some websites that advertise bid hire then others on keywords.....Could be a reason the earn click varies..
My CTR is way low, but my CPC is around .35 on average. Just wish I could get more than 1 click every 3 days.
My earnings per click have actually gone up overall. However, I have noticed your second observation myself - that as the day goes on, the earnings per click gets lower.
