    Focus on UV's, content & sales rather on your pagerank. I am sure when you put all energy, which you are currently investing in reading these kind of threads, on SEO tasks for your sites has a better ROI (return on investment).

    Page rank is Just a metric and is not important. But the things you do to get page rank can help you get high search results and with that you get uvs. When you launch a web site you need to focus on content and links. No one will be able to find you if you have no links. Its the whole chicken and the egg debate no one will ever win. Build links and content and eventually you will have enough users visiting your site to get organic links back so you wont need to build links your self at that point and focus on content and on site optimization.
