Hello, I recently made a site APMart Auctions - apmart.com. I wonder if it's a good idea for doing what it's doing right now: showing affiliate ebay listing and some AdSense. I thought of a few ideas such as: 1. Make a online supermarket (ecommerce) site for people to sell things 2. Sell affiliated products 3. Make a forum about shopping I made a few functional pages for testing: - Used Cars Under $2000 - Used Cars Under $1000 - Nintendo Wii Console I hope some kind heart persons will join the discussion and give me some idea. Well, to be honest, it looks like you've got quite a few listings on there, so I'm presuming you make a bit of money from it, and, in that case, it is a good idea. How long has it been an auction site, and what's the revenue per/month?
I've not promoted it by any mean, so at the moment not getting any money. I do beleive that after promotion and link building, it will gain decent amount of natural traffic. If I also use paid marketing, I think that it will be a good hit of money both from ebay and Google. What I should mentioned is that the site is having PageRank 4 and a few old subpages have pagerank 2. That should give it some strength boosts to later added posts
Why not use car make, like Ford, Chrysler, Jeep... as categories?? when people look for cars here, usually they already kknow what make they are looking for..
Thanks for the suggestion. I also beleive I need to make those as categories. Do you mean I will need to make many small listings for each Make?
