Almost Lost My $500 On Paypal

Hai. I almost throw away my USD500 when I tried to withdraw my paypal fund to visa card. As usual I went into the withdrawal panel, enter the amount and click continue. I was about 0.00001 second away from my mouse click to confirm the withdrawal when I saw it:

Are they trying to trick me or what? fortunately, I manage to cancel the withdrawal before It disappeared into the digital world....

Do you guys encounter the same problem like i am?

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR 'AMOUNT TO CARD' BEFORE CLICKING CONFIRM

Despite the problems that many people have with paypal, they aren't going to intentionally steal from you. They are closely scrutinized by the FTC here in the US, and they are a legitimate business. I think that this is most likely a glitch in their system where they are showing the incorrect amount that is going to be deposited.

I made an account on PayPal just over 6 months ago but i put the wrong name in (no im not a retard)

Ive emailed them atleast 6 times and have had no response or just rubish about chaning the account holders name so i can withdraw the money.

They just lock accounts that arnt verified (if you have over a certain amount of money) and hope that you dont provide your bank details and other stuff.

I think it's just a mistake/error on their site or something like that. Have you call them to sort out the problem?

Wow, never seen these before. How does this happen? Is this a link gotten from email or does it wait in your paypal for confirmation to pay?

what its mean by that is only the fee charge by Visa card issuer.
And the other $5 is charge by PayPal

My visa card issuer never charges anything before. only the paypal withdraw $5 charge. The "Amount to card" is the net amount of money that will be deposite to the visa account.

I have never had this problem before, But if this is a paypal issue then contact them so they can get ti fixed. But if it is a real issue then don't you think people would of complained and already sorted it with paypal?

Looks kinda funny, but I think Paypal would have noticed even if you'd gone through with it

Paypal would have noticed the error. If they did not notice you had enough evidence there to show it was a clear mistake and seek compensation
