I just designed my new landing page, and started my ppc campaign for about a week now. Had a few clicks to my lp and a few clickthrough (roughly about 100) to merchant site, but it doesn't convert... Is it the offer program, it should be a good one according to CJ. Or is it my landing page problem that I haven't pre-sell them well enough? Any way, could anyone take a look on my landing page www.besthotproduct.net and give some opinions/advice etc etc on the lp? Also, I have been using CJ and never looked into other networks (even though I signed up with many, e.g. clickbank, cpaempire, etc), anyone has some recommendation on a good network ? many thanks
Probably it is my keyword problem... I tried to get a broad keyword list, it end up with lot of impression, but many unwanted clicks a well.. so i shortened the keywords a lil and having very targeted keywords, but it seems these keywords don't get a lot of traffic.. just take a look at my landing page and u will know what offer and niche i'm promoting, so probabaly if anyone can give me some advice on keywords as well?
It looks nice, but maybe you should try with another product. Check out the MoreNiche affiliate network in my signature. Your landing page looks descent enough, probably the broad keyword list, have got most of unnecessary clicks.
You need to track the keyword too and only try bid for really targeted one. Don't too broad. If it includes specific product name that would better.
The landing page is very nice, the problem might be in your keywords. You might wanna get some new keywords or do some keyword trimming....get rid of stuff that you consistently see that is not converting.
Here's the weird problem. I have very targeted keywords. I have been using tracking202. They are really great support. However, as far as i know about tracking202, the tool tracks everything including which keyword convert, landing page, ad, etc etc. but it DOESN'T track which keyword resulted a CLICKTHROUGH FROM MY LANDING PAGE TO THE MERCHANT SITE. i have been discussing/arguing with the topic on whether this is neccessary, and my thoughts are being about to know which keywords are often clicked through is vital. becasue to affiliates our conversion rate = landing page clickthrough rate. So while increasing the landing page CTR as a whole is critial, it is also essential to see which keywords has low CTR. Right now, I can see that ,for example, there are 100 clicks to my landing page from paid search, and there're 20 clicks out to merchant site. BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT KEYWORD got clicked out from my tool.. and CJ only shows SID for converted keywords... So it is really hard for me to optimize my keywords right now. Also, I wanted to bid on the name of each individual games at the start this is a good way to get you lot of impression. But didn't do it eventually due to some keywords are trademarked etc etc..

Maybe its the offer. I recall reading from somewhere gamefly wasn't that great of a converting offer.
Really??? hmm.. but they have a quite good EPC and network ranking in Cj..although i know these figues can be diluted..

If someone signs up for a the 1 game or 2 game rental then it appears you get nothing.
I don't get paid when they actually signed up for some games??.........if this is true..then it is absurd..what a merchant ..... See the thing is, for me I'll spend quite a while until i can get a proper landing page out..but now this strucks me......maybe I really should do direct linking first.. What about completely iframe the merchant landing page. Would taht get me into trouble?? And someone once told me affiliate tracking url doesn't work properly with iframe???
i've received quite a few pm promoting me to click booth... i haven't used them before, so what is the difference between click booth to all the other CPA networks like CPAEmpire, CPAstorm, etc etc??
Holy Shit.....It is true....Now I looked close at gamefly action lead criteria and it does say only pay for free sign up.......AHHHHHHHH....I'm SO Stupid.......F%&* Gamefly....what a waste of time......
CPA is usually easier to convert than any other programs especially if you beed only free leads abd free trial offers.
i know. And there're so many CPA networks. I don't know which one is a good to stick for long term. I have always used CJ. Is clickbank, cpaempire good cpa networks? With CPA offers, do you think it is better to test them with Direct link before design a landing page? Like I just wasted my time getting the gamefly landing page. Also, is iframing CPA offer landing page ok? I heard ppl saying tracking code doesn't work well with iframe
Guys, is there a way that I have the sign up form on my own landing page instead of ppl sign up in the merchant site (i always wanted to do that customised landing page, but don't know how to) and in the sign up form I only include the Free Trial option for my visitors. This way, I can have both my commsions as well as gaining that visitor instead of losing him instantly.
