When Google updates every 3 months can you jump more than 1 at a time?
I only went from 1 to 2 after four months of hard work.

    Thanks in Advance!

Yeah, it's pretty easy to jump a few between each update. You just have to make sure your site is relevant and continue building backlinks from the right sources.

Yeah its possible. Why are you concerned with PR. I would be more focused on serps and traffic. PR should be a side effect.

To jump 3 spots before the next PR update get several quality inbound links from sites with higher PR than yours. It will happen.

I've seen PR NR to PR 5 jumps (not my sites). It all boils down to getting high quality backlinks. If you have great content, the natural links will help you greatly.

i went from 0 to 5 in one update for one of my site. its not much of a deal, just depends on how many backlinks with what PR you have. also depends on the timing. if you start building links and google updates the PR week after that, you will not get much of a jump. but ig you have the entire time between one update to the next, then you can get a good PR boost based on your backlinks

Doesn't PR , serps and traffic kind of go together? Can you move up in
position for your keywords and not move up in PR?

You can jump as high as the gravity of your site is in proportion to its link weighting which is the secret Google algorithm, however adding too much link weight to your sight between quarterly updates can flag your site and increase the gravity mass index.. IE: spam alert..

A good rate of climb is 3 / update for sites PR 0 - 2 and then it becomes infinitely harder from PR5 onwards.. but focus on traffic & serps.

Well, thats a good question. They do go hand in hand in a way, but I get alot of new PR0 pages on the first page of Google in front of millions of results. Traffic without PR. I would prefer the traffic.
