hi, my host has gone down and i need a reliable free host that can host my forum. for a short period while my host sorts out there server. i need php and mysql to run the forum less than 500mb and about 2gb transfer as i wont be staying long enough to use any more. any suggestions?
Off hand, I don't know of any free hosts. I think the problem you may run into is either limitations or ads, or something on your site. The free hosts have to make money somehow, and they will. I would check with a few hosts, I'm sure a few of them would be willing to help you out. Probably for free.
This is quite common for a free host. I would suggest you to go for paid. Nothing is free in the world though
That's very true. Nothing is free, and honestly, free hosts will make their money too. They'll make it through ads, or they'll limit you so heavily that you'll need to upgrade to a paid plan to get your stuff to work.
i am with a paid host, they are having technical problems. this is why i needed a freehost. i have sotrted it form my end and mys ite is running again. the hosting comapny that i was with are still having problems. i managed to get myself a freehost and i have my site back to normal.
