Submit Directories vs Signature on forum

    I have found Sig links to be very helpful, but I'm not sure about directories.

    Do both.
    signatures will bring you traffic and directories will bring traffic as well as build your links.

    signatures can bring traffic but I don't think directories are useful to get traffic.

    I believe that it's better to promote your site on some popular forums(related to your site niche) instead of submitting a site in hundreds of directories.

    Branding of your site on relevant forums is quite helpful to bring traffic on your site.

    Just be careful which dir's you submit too.... some dodgy ones can do more damage than good
