Can I Display Adsense Ads on my Landing Page?

I just came to know that displaying adsense ads on a landing page is not allowed by google and it might even ban you. Is it true? I have some adsense ads on my landing page because my landing page is a part of my blog.

Can I post the URL here?

    No, it's not true.
However, if your site looks to google like a Made For Adsense site, then you will be penalised, and may ultimately be banned.
If you've got lots of content and original content at that, then it's unlikely to be a problem.if you haven't - if it's quite a new blog for example, it might be best to leave adsense off until it looks a bit 'busier'.

Its not a new blog, its more than one year old and it has only original content. So it should not be a problem, rite?

you can have adsense on the landing page of adwords. but you can not have only have adsense on that page. means, you should have a website that has something than only adsense.

so it is risky. but allowed

you technically can have adsense, but google has been less lenient about it lately... Its best to just remove it

I try to follow the DMOZ outline for advetisements and content. Have 75% content, and 25% Ads.

I didn't wanna use it because Clickbank charges $3 for nothing and I thought I'll get some new blog readers but looks like its not gonna work.

I'm sure your QS would be better for that page but I'm not convinced it would convert all that well. I could be wrong though and the only way to know for sure is to test.

Have you considered hiring a designer to put together a professional landing page for you? If you are planning on spending even a small amount in adwords every month it is worth the investment.

I was under the impression that standalone landing pages with no linking from the main site were frowned upon by Google too. Sure I've read something of that note in their guidelines.

This site is better but still not created very well for conversion purposes.

    1. no call to action

    2. no promotional value

    3. way to long of a sales page.

Standalone sites are fine... I have lots of clients with standalone sites... You may be getting confused with SEO. For adwords as long as there is a landing page, privacy page and contact page you are fine... thats all that is needed

You should still be able to remove the AdSense. If you can't do it in the editor, just open up the HTML directly and remove it.

Still, as long as it doesn't look to Google like you're trying arbitrage, you should be OK.

just copy someone elses from a related or similar site

Make sure to read it word for word and make sure it applies to your website, then add or remove anything that you think is necessary
