Copyright lawyer in US?

    I have found out my website got ripped off and merged together with public domain US army CMH article into ebook which is being sold as author own work without single reference to either.

    Since same author seems to be selling over 250 ebook as his own he probably ripped off most of them from the web, so besides copyright infringement and plagiarism this guy is also a scammer.

    Since I'm hardly in position to hire US attorney let alone go to US I'm looking for someone who would take legal action against this person, I'm willing to let him have all the money which can be won in potential lawsuit I just want to stop this loser. :mad:

    Most lawyers do not work that way. Further, only a plaintiff with standing has a right to sue. You can not just ask someone to sue on your behalf. I am not even sure if it is legal to assign a right to your copyright claim in litigation. You may very well be the only one who can assert the claim.

    I suspect it is just a waste of time to pursue unless they have cost you substantial damages. Sorry.
