If we write a thread on link exchange and give out our blog URL Openly will Google Penalize us ? Let me know.. Thanks Esidyo
I don't think Google penalises link exchanges but it probably doesn't give you as much benefit for an exchanged link as for a one way link.
They won't penalize you for exchanging links but the fact is that the link will not carry much weight to help on the PR side. Best is to work on getting one way backlink.
One way links are the only really usefull in my opinion, all these reciporial links don´t give you much except you have a good placement and get good traffic for it... But for PR it doesn´t really count i think..
I think google penalize's a site if that site is exchanging links with other sites, selling links, writing sponsored reviews,etc.. If your blog is a new one, there's no problem sharing your blog link in the 'link exchange thread's'.. but. if your site is a popular one with some good PR.. your blog will be in trouble.
Don't know if Google penalizes a site for link exchanges or not, but one thing is for sure, Google do not like Link exchanges done to increase sites ranking.
if peoples keep adding your site link on their website i dont think placing excessive link will harm you .. because thats what most directories do .1
google tolerate only similar Reciprocal Links they can bann a site for excessive Reciprocal Links...so it's good and bad too..try to write and submit your articles to many articles directories like this one Online Article Directoryto get good backlinks..
Completely untrue! The fact is that link exchanges are valueless and Google treats them as such. It's always been the same, seek quality, inbound links from applicable sites.
google can ban anything that they think ruine their search engine, not hard to see that, so excessive links or selling high page ranked links for websites that are new/unimportant hurts their "real" search result.
