Hey, I know its a crazy number.. but If i build links on forums, i have about 100 forums i post on a day, which i post 5 times a day + 3 links per post = 1,500 links a day. There all related to my site (cars) and that doesn't count directories that i do (haven't started yet but ill see) also do link trading... so ya.. help? PS! If you are wondering what the site it's Electronic Fiend DOT com. I post in car forums for car accessories, music forums for mp3 mp4, and cell phone and tech for cell phones and blue tooth. Is this good or bad? PSS! tell me what you think of the site, worked real hard lol .
Adding too many links too fast is not a safe bet. It will appear as unnatural to search engines like Google. Just make sure you build them slowly and to relevant sites. Changing your anchor text is always a good idea as well.
OP, you are doing 500 posts per day?!! I'm impressed. If you worked a full 12-hour day (12 X 60 = 720 minutes), you would put out a forum post nonstop about every minute and a half for 12 straight hours. How are you able to put much quality into these posts? You have to be firing them off like a machine gun to get that many in! You might want to do some research to see if the link value of those posts in 100 forums is worth taking up all your time and leaving little if any for the numerous and often-important other facets of SEO.
Depends on pattern. Adobe.com gains thousands of links per day for sure. It is not bad if pattern is natural: you can build these links consistently, link profile is variable (different sites, blogs, forums, social bookmarks, directories etc). Also you need to implement broad spectrum of anchor texts, including a lot of links with just domain name, "click here" etc. In real life I don`t think you can hold such natural pattern. In best case Google just does not count these links, in worst case you will get penalty because of link spamming.
I can not agree more. Do 50 a day, even less but write quality comments/posts that will benefit those communities you post to. It is better in the short and long run. 5% of my bookmarks are composed of people who commented something useful. I usually post 5 comments a day.
desilator thank you for your comment, how many links to do recommend a day? by this i mean, link trade, forum post, etc. Jim4767 thank you for your comment, lol yes sir that is true. I work pretty hard and fast. I been doing this since I have been 12, now 20. Business is what I enjoy and understand. (also I have two other great partners with the same passion as mine) Each post we make we answer with a great comment now a short comment like " cool nice stuff " etc. DomainMagia thank you for your comment, all links i put up online is anchor text. also i keep track of my work every day and make sure i don't go 10 links one day 400 another. its very consistent. supergoz thank you for your comment, all my links post are quality post. also how many links do you think i should do?
I dont know how many to recommend. I post numerous times on this forum a day. I dont do any link trades so perhaps it balances out.
Posting on these forums will help a little bit but you need to build links on relevant sites that are hosted on different c-class IPs. 1000 links from these forums would be equal to 50 links from different c-class IPs on relevant sites. But still any inbound link matters.
No need to do like that, just post a good article.you can get natural link. Iam afraid if i do it like you
Yeah that's a sure-fire way to get penalized. HOWEVER, since it takes some time for SEs to get around to indexing specific forum threads I think you'll be ok.
Do 5 posts per day on every forum. And don't think that forum signatures are strong, just use them as one of many SEO methods.
This type of strategy cracks me up. Don't you think this type of posting will look a bit unnatural, especially to the poor souls who are actually trying to run forums based on intelligent discussions?
I kind of already spoke about how I do not spam the forums, i leave genuine comments that are helpful to the forums.
