Why can't celebrities hire their own drivers?

Why can't celebrities especially those in Hollywood hire their own drivers? Why do they have to drive their own vehicles? Why do they take that risk especially when they drive under the influence of alcohol/liquor?

The latest celebrity to go to the popo is Shia LeBouf, of Transformers movie fame. He was involved in an accident and his hand got injured. So now the Transformers shooting is put on hold for a month --- and all because Shia was drunk driving!

 

I don't know. maybe they just don't want others to drive for them.

 

That's a good question, but I think they feel they can do what they want because of who they are. So they feel that if they want to drive drunk, they can, It's sad.

 

You act like its just celebrities.. lol. There are plenty of dickheads who drink/drive everyday. Celebrities just get more publicity.

 

There are plenty of people that have it happen to them, but I think it makes it even dumber when a celebrity does it. Shia LeBouf was on his way to become an A list actor, he has millions of dollars, and then he puts his career in jeopardy. It's also not the first time he's been in trouble with the law for drinking, and being a idiot. Celebrities think they are above the law, and can do whatever they want.

 

Anyone want to drive his own car. But when you're drunk, I don't think anyone consider if it's good or bad to drive.

Yes that's true. However, don't celebrities realize that exactly because they get more publicity, they should be more careful?

 

Publicity is always good.

 

I guess this is where the saying "good or bad, it's still publicity" comes in.

 

Some actually have drivers, but others probably like to drive

 

i think everyone like being free. hiring a driver can be help for some occasions, but like us, celebs want sometimes to drive car by themselves.

 

they have so much money to buy such nice cars that they want to drive them

 

Its always the same, today its is Shia LeBouf, tomorrow it would be someone else. these celebs are becoming a disgrace for their fans.

 

Apparently their PR consultants and managers aren't doing very good jobs at reminding these celebrities of their responsibilities to be role models.

 

Well, have you seen the results of celebrities driving themselves? Just to remind you of Britney Speares and her baby...

 

If some1 asks me to take that job, i will do it coz i've heard that Cameron Diaz's Driver Bangs Her a lot.

I think it's because they are more concerned to their privacy

 

don't know about you guys but even if i was a celebrity i would drive myself since I love driving, how can you truely appreciate a car if you don't drive it yourself? And we are talking about celebrity here, so its no crappy car

 

Maybe they dont trust drivers.
