If you don't wanna read all this at least read the last paragraph or two. I did Magic Mushrooms about 2 days ago at a party. I did about 3.5 grams in some tea and my friends did to. I had a really fun time, I felt happy the whole time, couldn't stop laughing and everything moved, it was great. All the bad things you hear about Shrooms don't happen unless you make them happen. If you are nervous or scared you will be seen on Shrooms don't do them or you will have a bad trip. But if you are relaxed and having a good time it can be the most life changing experience you may ever have. Shrooms help you see life in different ways (No pun intended) and now I am more confident and less shy because of them. I have tried Ecstasy, Weed (Lifestyle Not A Drug), Mushrooms and soon Salvia. People are going about drugs the wrong way these days. They don't make you dumber (If done responsibly) they won't kill you (Unless you get bad drugs). So this is how I see drugs and life. Everything is related to feelings. Being happy, sad, mad are all feelings that you have and that you body can control, everyone has feelings and this is how life is run. Now there are some feeling that your brain cannot do alone and need help from substances to achieve this state of mind. Each drug works on a different part of the brain triggering different feeling. Drugs like DMT are natural in the body and are released right before you die or have a near death experience (This is why people report seeing god or angels when dieing) DMT can also be eaten or smoked and this is a drug that can be as strong as LSD but in different ways. Now nothing bad will happen if drugs are done responsibly, drugs are supposed to be in doses of certain amounts before they are done just like normal drugs from the store like cough medicine. To much and its bad to little and it doesn't work. Take drugs how they are supposed to be taken and you will have the time of your life. Many people think they will mess up your life, well they won't if done right. Just don't do addictive substances more than once and never do them if you have a disorder in the family.
That's what people who only listen to what the Media and Police say. Those people listen to anything others say and it kind of makes me angry (you don't make me angry but my friends with opinions like that make me so mad because they try to change your life.) I was exactly like you before, then I tried weed and figured it was a fine drug and it wasn't going to hurt me just make me feel a different way (Not necessarily better but different)
You can take drugs (for the specific treatment of ailments) if you are very sure that you won't become addicted to it...
I just like how Psychedelics can bring you to places you have only gone in dreams. It's great for meditation.
I find it sad that some people have to take drugs to force them selfs to be in a happy mood. Drugs aren't needed to make yourself happy/have a new experience.
People can take drugs if they want to but they should be aware that they are not only stuffing up their own lives but also their friends and family.
Agreed but who knows that you can control yourself or not? If you failed to control then drugs will take the whole control of you
I agree with almost everything you say, but its not true about what you say with mushrooms etc, yes you can be in a great mood, with the right company etc and you will have a wonderful trip, but anything can happen when you are at that stage where it all goes wrong, and you freak out, you just dont know what will happen, even to the extent if someone with you starts to bad trip, it can have an adverse reaction to all of you, if you are strong minded things will generally be ok. In general drugs are worthless and they ruin life's, however psychedelic ones are really wonderful, things that put you into another dimension of life, somewhere that no drug user will ever believe, they are quite religious and spiritual, it really does open up your mind, and I believe you can learn a lot from this experience. I have never tried Salvia, I would like to someday, you really can experience some crazy things with this, like takes you back to childhood, or a different time period in past or future.
The fact that I've had so many fake relationships with guys on drugs just makes me want to express my hatred towards them. I've had such a miserable time in high school and it was because everyone who ever gave a toss about me was either on weed, cocaine, or drinking, and the worst thing is, I'll never know if they even were truthful to me because they could have seen me as a total different person under the influence.
I knew a few people who died from heroin overdoses in the mid/late 90s. It was their choice, they loved it (and lived for it), and ultimately paid for it. Still, I personally don't think governments, religions, or society should get in the way of people enjoying or ruining their lives.
The problem is that with drugs, there are high chances to get addicted. So no matter what reasons or excuses to give yourself to say it's ok, I will still stick to my decision to stay away from it.
Im the biggest drug advocate there is. But no-one can think psychedelics are harmless, you could have a nice trip on 3.5g this time and the next have one that will destroy your soul. Strongest ive tried is DMT or salvia 50x for intial intesity. Drugs have many side effects, but if the user is healthy and the sessions are infrequent then you'll most likely be fine. As a used to be daily weed smoker i love how everyone thinks it has no sides, its fairly benign but used daily can have effects on the body.
I hate people who say drugs are for losers, these are the typical people who consume major amounts of caffiene via coffee daily whilst smoking a cigarette in a bar drinking alcohol. Or popping lots of pharmaceutical meds.
My take on it: I'd rather not do it, but the the government sure shouldn't interfere with the choices of an individual.
