So I have launched my first blog and it needs some custom work but I am on a tight budget so please excuse the low prize offer this time. URL: www.underdogpoker.com Title : Underdog poker - "All-in for the win" Looking for something keeping with the modern theme of the blog, eye popping colors (reds & electric blues maybe). I am open for suggestions about a picture/image. I had though with the underdog name that the dogs playing poker idea could work if the right image could be found, although it could stray on the cheesy side. Please feel free to suggest away, stock photos, custom stuff ... all is welcome. I will try and remain active in this thread to encourage those that are close and let those that aren't going in a direction I like know as soon as possible so as to not waste anyones time. Nicely done ... I think a more Spuds Mckenzie like dog (more edgy, more testosterone'ish) would be better than the Scooby lookin one you found and the Underdog poker font might be a little to "young" looking but otherwise nicely done ! If someone can tell the noob where to find the header in a wordpress blog theme I will try and see what size the current header is. Although I am open to changing the header dimensions from what it is currently if necessary.
If there is a header in the template, just right click and go to Properties and it will give you the size. I'll enter when I know what size it is. I've never used Wordpress, but if you can, post the link to the theme/template and we can probably figure it out for you.
Here is the header from the blog template ... sorry I am a noob at all this I am not stuck on that size so feel free to increase the height as you see fit but I will need the width to remain otherwise I will never be able to get it to look right with my limited skills.
Lunamaya - nice stuff ! Could we pull the cards and the dog appart a little, I'd like the 4 aces to be visible and maybe move the "All in..." to the bottom right ? Designerboy - thanks but aa little red, white & blue for my liking and I was hoping for a more detailed dog look
NICE bitwer, and right in my header size so I dont have to go nutz trying to get it to fit with my crap web design skills ! Any chance there is a color version of the doggy ?
