What do you think about stars used as ratings?

    When your on a website and it happens to have reviewed, rated, given its opinion on something like a product, service or anything else and you see a star rating feature in place, what does it make you think of? how does it make you feel?

    1. Just another star rating feature.
    2. Quite child like and reminds you off school
    3. You dont take much notice of sites with things link star ratings
    4. An overused feature
    5. Quite reliable and recognised to people around the world
    6. Or something else entirely.

    Im curious to know what you think, thanks everyone.

    I don't mind the stars, its an ok way to rate people or sites. I imagine lots would think it was childish though.

    Well, to me it appears more interesting to look into. Positive feed back or negative commentary, it's still worth a glance if it's been talked about, right?
