    I am hearing everyday about Yahoo Accounts being cracked down...

    can somebody enter into my yahoo account without knowing my password?


    or they usualy just steal it with psihing-etc, or they need to steal my cookies from yahoo messenger ,etc

    phishing is the most used one

    cookies stealers are not most effective as yahoo gmail keep changing the storing those

    You can be hacked by phishing or keylogging, Password stealing won't help because Yahoo! Mail doesn't save passwords..

    Lol.. those sick hackers are always stealing something weird :)
    It seems to be a rumor started by a stupid Linux users, who are occasionally sharing their /home via SMB, allowing anyone to steal Yahoo&Gmail credentials stored in a plain text (long live Pidgin.im)..

    I dont think they can hack yahoo IDs but there are ways to crack someone's account, like using key loggers, using cookies and others.

    4 of my yahoo IDs got hacked....i didn't even use a phishing site or anything...

    What happened was taht i couldn't login. if i go to forgot my password it says enough information was not available!

    email passwords are more important than cpanel passwords for your domain. gotta protect those with your life since they tend to be tied into your financial and purchasing institutions. i think you just gotta make it inconvenient for hackers such as no public usage (libraries, cafe's, not even at work), only login from trusted computers, and watch out for those trojans even if it means reformatting your computer once in awhile. i personally have image backups i can use to upload and restore my computer overnight if necessary.

    Well guys i am thinking like you ... i didn'tcare of "idiots" pretentinding they know somebody who had his Yahoo ID hacked. I was always thinking that hackers steal their passwords not hacking it.

    But... I saw at TV something interesting. One girl has been murdered 1 year ago, and just a few months back ,before her body has been found.. somebody entered her Yahoo ID ...

    lot's of her class mates said that somebody logged-in.

    Was that somebody from Romanian Police Forces? Or just a classmate hacker who wanted to deep more in a story. Because that girl was missing for 1 year ... and she run away from home with 160,000 $ cash ?! Nobody can say this ...

    I would assume that anything can be hacked. Although some things may seem like impossible, if you guess right just like the lottery, then you hit the jackpot.
