Is Black Hat SEO bad? As we know, it is a nasty way to increase the crawler rate thru your website to get top rank on the top page in order to make money. However, do you think it is bad to do so?
Half the people running adsense here are in violation of Google's program policies anyway: # No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages. # No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.
hey James, thanks for the info. But what if we use "Hidden text" that allows the crawlers to get us at higher rank, is it wrong to do so??
It is not bad. But you'll be penalized or banned if you overdo balckhat methods. Stay under the rador and you'll make more $$!
How do you know we didnt cross the line? Its pretty dangerous if you get banned... Can you explain more?
it is bad because by using black hat seo methods you may banned or penalized by any search engine specially from google. so when there are some good methods are there for white hat SEO why should be go for blackhat seo????????????
Why even risk it? If you value your website or if its your means of making money then the risk to bennefit ratio isn't even close in terms of doing it. Employ white hat methods, and you'll be better in the long run.
Black Hat is "bad" because it uses methods that are beyond the norm and puts others in a complete disadvantage. It also cheats the system and results to users getting results they do not want or ask for.
In long term these techniques do no work. They have a limitation. In short term you can get some advantage.
hm... You got a point here dude. If a lucratic new website is making money in future, why do i use black hat which is so risky and bad in such a way. To play safe, i rather use white hat. But what are those methods then?
What if your main purpose is for pure SEO, for affiliate conversions, and not for AdSense whatsoever? I don't condone BHSEO myself, but ponder on that
No one seems to want to mention that Black Hat is basically cheating. They use these methods to increase their rankings, instead of attempting to offer quality content that users find relevant. I think it's bad. Period.
You wouldn't be registered here if you believed the only way to reach the top SERPs (or make money online) was by creating just quality content alone, would you?
