Google Launches Knol and They are Ranking high in SERPS!

    Google launches Knol, a new type of Wikipedia. Many Knolers report their Knols hitting page one of Google the day after launch. The Knol also possesses some big negatives, as far as copyright, content theft issues and high authority sites losing SERPS over Knol.

    Google Knol - the Good, the Bad and the Internet Marketing Benefits

    And, while Google is obviously taking advantage and swaying the Algo in their favor, the favoritism that Google is giving to Knol can be used as a great Internet Marketing advantage.

    Are you sure? It has AdSense option that you can add to your knol, but doesn't have any other money making modules as squidoo or hubpages have

    In Norway where I live Knol sounds very much like a bad pronouncing of the word "fu*k".
    It will be interesting to see if they can threaten Wikipedia - something I don't think :)

    I think it's a double edge sword. It's risky trying to find out which edge cuts more. Some on hands training is going to be necessary. Volunteers ?
    I guess it depends of the rank status.:confused:

    i saw it, i'm not that convinced whether it will be overall better or worse for small website admins...i agree with homesweet that it all seems to be a double edged sword.
