Hi guys, just recently I started my adwords account and began a campaign. All my clicks were quality rating of "Great" and had a minimum of 0.04 euro. After running it for a day there were 2000 views and only 1 click. I deleted these keywords as they were obviously not targeted. Now, every new keyword I add is between 4-8 euros per click, funny thing is that the new key words are very relevant. I have checked to see if it is a landing page issue, but my Adwords console says it is relevancy and CTR problem. I have money sitting in my account and I would like to run a campaign, but with 8.00 euro clicks, there is no possibility. Any tips from the gurus? Cheers, prophet
I am promoting my own language products. Some of the keywords I was using had no competition or just a few others, so the 0.04 cents per click was actual. I had my max bid at 0.20 euro.
Create a separate campaign for content network and use the new site targeting features..."Placements New!" tab. I have had great conversion experiences with this. Tip: Choose highly related sites with good content and ad positioning.

No probs prophet, there have been major changes rolled out in the last month or so in the adwords interface. You also want to consider giving things a few days to settle. Maybe this will also help: - drill for more keywords that will allow you to target a larger GEO area. E.g insert city name into keywords and create a separate geo targeted campaign. Good Luck, H
Try keyword suggestion tool from adwords and enter your page. What results do you get? (tools -> kw tool -> Website content -> enter your website landing page as input) How relevant are your ads to your keywords?
Give same time may be one week to settle your campaign and make at least 3 types of Ad text so better one will display more time and brings higher CTR.
