people find www.wikiclone.org either via advertising or finding indexed articles/images when browsing Google. A month ago I manually cleared the cache file (I was going to move the site - 10gig) and since then no file/image has gone to cache. Google indexed pages went from 700,000 pages to 600. Images in Google Images went from 3000 images to 60. This has a) slowed the site (all images etc now have to be accessed from wikipedia.org again and again) and traffic has gone from 8000 uniques to 1000 uniques per day. The job - ascertain cause and fix problems. Price please. ta Sharon
A bit of off-topic , But isn`t that illegal, Copying all contents from wikipedia and dispaying on your site, I think that you were penalised by google for that. Anywayz , best way would be to use google webmaster kit and submit sitemap of the site
went into the legal side when I bought it - its all under "All materials comes from Wikipedia, under GNU Free Documentation License". As long as sources are ALWAYS acknowledged...its fine. Re sitemap - dont know how to do.
Try google search for Online Sitemap creator. I can create a sitemap but do have any database of activity with which we can create a dynamic sitemaps ?
