    Hello,

    Can anyone tell me why this page is page rank 1 please. It has no backlinks etc? I've also had a quick check around the site using other sites as the target and they are all page rank 0.

    I had a website that I made redirect to from 6000 unused domains, that made PR4 at that time with out any other things done to it then just the re directs..

    I get so tired of hearing people say that what Google does with their PR system is unfair... it is Google's PR system. If they wanted to award high PR to any site that had three z's in their domain name or used pink themes, they could. PR is theirs to do with what they like.

    content is king, write good content and links will happen naturally, develop a strategy to build back links from relevant sites, and promote your site through acceptable mechanisms (article directory, social bookmarking)

    Had a site with a -30 penalty that looks like was lifted. Relatively new domain about 6 months old. My pagerank went down from PR3 to PR2 but I'll take that if the penalty is lifted.

    They must not have gotten around to me yet, because I have 10 sites and none have had a PR change. Probably see some sort of changes in the next week I would guess.
