$60 One Page Web Design For HerbalDoc.com (Uncoded)

I am needing a one page design of HerbalDoc.com. Here are two sites that I think have good designs, but you don't necessarily have to pattern your design after them.

www.albin.net (though, the background on this site is hideous)

Currently, HerbalDoc is just a "coming soon" page but it will be an herbal detox store. Let me know if you have any questions.

I have four design submissions through PM so far. I give feedback via the thread, even if you privately submitted your design. That way everyone can benefit from the feedback and I don't have to repeat myself.

@raja: I like your design, but I need for you to use the logo provided. Also, I don't care for the top border in the header (above the woman).

@.AnG3L: Thank you for your submission but your design looks like a basic template. Not exactly what I am looking for.

@Tranzemaniac: The logo does not seem to fit the overall design of the page. Also, I recommend not having the navigation in the header. Instead, I would switch out the "Latest News" and put the navigation there.

@katesrobyn: Several things I would recommend. First, the pink flower and the dark green navigation do not fit into your overall color sheme. Second, I like your side bar but I would add the newsletter that you have in the content body into the sidebar. Overall I don't think your color scheme ties in well with your choice of logo, but I do think you are on the right track.

 

So far I haven't received any design that I am absolutely in love with. In the first post of this thread I gave two examples of websites that I like. I don't want people to copy these designs exactly, but you will have a greater chance of winning if it is similar. Here is another site I really like: www.lewro.com. I hope this helps.

I agree with agapito, I will no longer consider designs sent to me through PM. Some of you might not care for this but it makes it so I don't have to deal with duplicate mistakes. Plus, you will be able to see designs I like and don't like. So, I am asking all of those who have submitted their designs through PM to repost them here. You are welcome to remove your design once the contest is over. I appreciate your help on making this a better contest.
