    Basically the Alexa ranking is a crude way of measuring the traffic because it only takes into account visits from visitors who actually has the alexa toolbar installed in their browser. Either way you can also install the toolbar to your blog/website so that the counting begin everytime there's a visit. Of course the second method is better.

    That used to be how it works but about three months ago Alexa changed their system.

    I can't see any point in faking or trying to manipulate the Alexa ranking .... whats the point of doing that :confused: after all Alexa is only counting the number of visitors to your site, you either have them or you don't ..... faking Alexa isn't going to change that.

    ok so this is what i did

    fantistic content (i think), we run competitions of graphics, posting.... gifts $200 itunes giftcard (nearly every week)

    we've been running for a month now

    Stats

    Threads: 8,466, Posts: 11,804, Members: 537, Welcome to our newest member, pummykid

    We get 6 good users everyday 10 on a good day. We run on vbulletin

    We have blog installed

    we have vbseo installed

    What else :S
