    A lot of sites got their PR's dropped. All of my sites dropped :( I had a PR4 now PR3 and PR3 now PR2. My new site that has gotten a lot of backlinks only got PR1. I was expecting a little higher PR than 1 but then again. You can still rank in serps with low PR sites :)

    i don't think content plays any role in any PR update or the age of backlinks...as some fellow DP'ers state, some sites got PR3 with very few backlinks

    My website which is just 3 months old went from N/A PR to 4!!!!!!!!!! I just checked it

    Seems like hard work paid off.

    Those who didn't get increase in PR don't get dishearted. Keep working and improving your website which is what I did. Most of the time I would think from user point of view to make sure they get content without hassle. You do the same and keep things simple. Trust me it works!

    Are you ranking for popular keywords? That's the question you should be asking yourself. If you are ranking highly only for keywords that noone look for, you will not see any traffic ...

    I jumped from PR3 to PR4 too (at least for the homepage)... continuing to build back links from well established site.
    Hopefully next time I'll go to PR5 (my site is 6 months old).

    But why in the world should you expect that formula to work? SERP's is not equal to: PR4+SEO CMS+15000 words...

    You're watching it upside down mate... Look at the base, that's where your problem is...

    U cant get traffic by simple starting ur site. Submit it to big search engines. Advertise ur site. Sharpen ur keywords for public needs.
