So come on.. tell me about your most embarrassing moment as an IMer or the biggest mistake you have ever made in your IM adventure. Mine: I spent money on EDC Gold, then a Google AdWords guide which cost me $97 then I spent a little more money and went into debt. I pretty much buried myself and ended up losing the house. Let's just say.. lesson learned.. and not the easy way. Don't spend just to know what you can find on forums
Made a picture of... a man's genitals as my avatar for the laughs. Too bad the person I did that too was also twisted and posted pics of homosexual sex, and then it escalated and... yeah.
That's just good comedy. Yeah.. on the internet. You can never have the last word or laugh, someone always has to beat you for some reason :|
No biggy but instead of typing oh shoot i typed oh shiit the only biggy was that it went to somebody at my church, I didn't care though I thought it was funny. haha
Once I was IMing with several people at once and I typed the wrong thing to the wrong person. But it kinda fit into the other conversation that I was having so they never knew it was to the wrong person!
I was talking to a person in english and to a person in romanian and then i switched convos by mistake and imagine what happened lol.
I send the wrong messages to people very often, the problem is that they're usually sentences others won't get like telling a male friend to get in touch with his gay feelings only to find it ending up in the wrong chat window.
I think IM in this context stands for internet marketing... Ah well, thread's already been hijacked. My biggest IM mistake was having a convo with a random female stranger that was actually my gf in disguise (now ex-gf)
I type a wrong message to girl, with rude dirty words, I dont mean it because I don't sleep for a few days, and it make me confuse and I sent a wrong message to wrong person.... and then she is gone...
Well it's not IM, but it still fits imho. I sent a rather filthy text message to my partner, D. while I was interstate visiting my parents for a week - due to his number being next to "Dad"'s in my phone book I sent it to the wrong number. Thank god it was the middle of the night; I found his phone in the kitchen and deleted it.
