How long does it take for your pagerank to increase? I had my blog for 3 months and have been working pretty hard to get traffic to it and some backlinks. Does it take a long time for your pagerank to show up?
Pagerank is not based on the age of your website, but the quality of the backlinks pointing to a "specific" web page on your site. Remember, Pagerank value is given to web page, not a web site. Effectively you need more quality backlinks to boost your Pagerank.
I just did a backlink checker and it said I have 339 backlinks. Is that ok for being a 3 month old blog?
339 backlinks is very decent. I would have imagined your site would have gone to a PR3 or PR4 based on that. Shouldn't worry too much though. Keep building on it and adding content and the rest will follow.
sometimes google update is very unpredictable,i got a PR3 for a blog which i dumped a long time ago which had just about 35 posts or so.
you have a money making blog. These niche is always dealt sternly by google. Very hard to get a PR in this field
Try to get more backlink. My site has pr4 within 4 month and I just have submitted them to Search engines and Directories.
Mainly I think it depends on how well you perform you SEO to optimize and tweak your site to make it search engine friendly and also working on the backlinks. If you do it right, it won't be long before you attain PR ranking in just one update cycle. It depends also on the content that you have whether it is unique and keyword rich.
PageRank is not that important - however, 3 months is a small time. However, 339 backlinks in 3 months is really a good number - I'm not sure which backlinks tools you are using. My expert lounge article directory have just 18 baclinks (search google with link:http://xpert.tvbusinesslounge.com/) and it got PR4 this quarter PR update - it was previously PR3. PR depends mostly over backlinks and age of the domain age. Be patience. I think you should be worried about SERP, not about PageRank! PageRank has very little relationship with SERP positioning.
It will take minimum 3-4 months but Page Rank not only depends one factor. There are many factors are there. it's depends site navigation, backlinks, content, images ect...........
yup, PR i think you wait in next update please do continue work on your blog and go with ethical way you should got PR in next update....
Patience is key with all this stuff, give it some time and next update it should come up. Keep on the backward links though, more the merrier.
theres a PR updates now but if it still in 0 better optimized or do a link building for your blog...always update your contents,submitit to social bookmarkings and article directories.
sometimes you will get PR in this update or need to wait until next.By the time do some link building.
