I have a e-commerece site (vinyl banners) www.forcesign.com. Is business.com it worth it.
Has anyone tried it? Does it do anything for search engine building?

    Any help would be great

You have a nice, tidy little site there. The way I see it - what's your average sale (in $) on your site - or perhaps if you don't do many sales online, in store? $300 is a lot of money for one listing, which I would hesitate to spend on a single directory. I personally would use the $300 for listings in other, smaller yet quality directories until you are well established online - then go and throw the big bucks at the big companies.

    Just my 2c:)

Banners56, if you want to go down the route of PPC then go to shopping.com as the traffic will be much more targeted to your specific product than what business.com would be able to produce.

Edit: I just checked shopping.com for "vinyl banner" and your only competitor would be teamstore.com so you might do well in this niche.

I got killed with PPC on business.com. The fraud was huge. I complained and got refunded maybe 3 times, but things didn't change. So after about $1000.00 wasted, I turned it off.

That was about 2 years ago.

If there is clickfraud happening at Business.com, then it's happening everywhere. For every $1000 spent, you're looking to lose about $250 to robot/affiliate clicks.

But saying that, Business.com would get a ton of traffic, so would the loss be considered worth it - just a thought :)
