Up-to Yesterday, my blog was showing PR 1/10, but there is no PR showing today, Idon't know the reason. my blog ia (http://thecolouroflife-fariha.blogspot.com/) can any friend check and tell me the reason?
The latest update favored some sites and some lost their glory days. Most hit are some directories. No one knows yet the reason why the directories lost so much PR.
Yes it is, if your site had PR1 and now it is PR0 clearly you haven't been doing your job as a webmaster.
with ever increasing number of new sites - the criteria also need to be moved UP. with many sites / pages losing one PR - then BLs of course are lower resulting in lower PR. such usually has NO effect on traffic. I experienced such time and again in many earlier years with zero negativ impact on SERPS or traffic. SERPS are important - SERPS bring traffic - traffic = $!!!
Somehow, one needs to worry about PR. Maybe, as a mark of honor and a sign of presence in the Internet world. But I do agree that SERPs = traffic and good conversion of traffic = $.
I hate it.. All my sites went down... I was expecting a boost but for some reason it is down now. I don't care as long as the traffic and serp remains same or increases.
During the last week of each month Google update the page rank. So that might be the reason your page rank vanished. BTW My main site went from PR 3 to PR 2 and my blog PR is same PR4.
