Good news for me! I've noticed an increase ins each engine traffic coming to my Topsite list.

    http://www.bypassdaily.com

Seems like my plan is beginning to work, so get your proxy browsers submitted now, it's the best time really, pick up the early Search Engine traffic!

Thinking about it, i am not sure putting them into an iframe will be of any use. by the time the contents of the iframe loads the user will have found what they are looking for content wise and skip the ad - if they even see it at all (scrolling etc)

At least a plus side for the slow loading / blocking, normal version they need to wait to see the ad before they see anything else but both of these options are pretty crappy

perhaps i will open a ticket once i can login again. (maintenance atm)

Yeah, over the past few days I have noticed some really good earnings for clicks across my entire network, not just those for the proxy orientated ads.

I had a quick question. What script does this site
    www proxywhereabouts com
use? I've seen a lot of other sites using that script (proxy directory) before.

    Thanks

I am not sure which one he uses on that site (he is around this thread quite a bit so may pop in and tell you) but I did some research on a couple before building my own system, the two I found were:

    $54.99 - http://www.proxypromo.com/
    $199.00 - http://www.proxylistscript.com/

Yep, the site use the latter script. :)
I have secure another coder to code a script which is will be unique. It will replace the current script and will be running online on proxywhereabouts next week.

If you need the database to start off your listing site, I could sell it for a price, :D

For this kind of sites the PR is not important for submitters because there is no link juice passed. The proxies are listed using JS (i think) and google doesn't follow that links.

I really like your logo, it's simple yet effective.

I was in my account about two days ago, now "server not found". That make me a little concerned , that's why I do not put all my eggs in one basket.

Any one else realized how flawed all these proxy scripts are.

I don't think any of the current ones will ever work with all sites 100%.

I think whats needed is some sort of page which loads say a flash or activex styled app which in turn ends up loading a proper web browser on a remote desktop.

No worrying about what sites work and what doesnt becuase they are using a proper remote web browser.

Around xmas i saw a micorsoft website which was a demo for office 2007, what it did is what i described. I think it used citrix (?) which was a pain to install and i admit probably not the solution we need because most users will not have rights to install such things.

But the demo threw you onto a desktop basicly and it was just like sitting there. alot like rdp - remote desktop, vnc, etc.

    (http://www.runaware.com/microsoft/en-us/2007office/td?action=launch_wizard_cw MAY be it)

infact there are alot of already made vnc web based things.

We need something like this so we can ditch the current systems we use.

They will be no harder to place ads on than our current setups becuase you still control everything that passes through them. Your main page could still contain adsense and this page would load on the clients computer. Problem with ads on the actual pages they surf are all clicks would come from the same ip.

They should be harder to block - no keywords to set off alarms etc.

perhaps a monthly small fee to cover the lack of ads on the pages they surf.

    :)

Well the main Canep site is still up, it is just the adcen thing which is down. So maybe not their fault? Be nice if they said something about it though.
