Yeah, my new Skullcandy Hesh headphones just arrived: They are so comfy and sound amazing, I would recommend them or any other skullcandy headphones to anyone
Lol I used to have a pair of Sennheiser HD 25s that cost me around $200, I was gonna get a new pair since they were brilliant, but got the Skullcandys since they were cheaper and looked better. I think the skullcandies are very almost exactly the same, but at under 1/2 the price I would recommend them to anyone.
There are headphones that cost around $1000. The difference is that they use valves instead of transistors. I really don't know how music lovers pay that much to listen to music.
Yep, those are aimed mainly at DJs and more commercial use, my pair of Sennheissers were around $200, but I really think the SKullcandys are just as good for only $60.
Well, if it's your profession or even something you enjoy, I can understand that, but as for me I don't need a $1000 headset or even a $62 one. This $25 one will do me just fine. LOL
Nice one, there's nothing like having headphones that you LOVE A good pair of headphones is like a good pair of shoes, if they fit 'just right', then it doesn't matter how much (or how little) they cost. I used to be a big fan of Sennheiser headphones back in the 90s, until I realized that I was buying a new pair of headphones every 12-18 months. I got sick of it, and bought some Sony MDR V700DJs, which were fkn awesome, but fell apart after 2 years. I'm now using a relatively cheap (AU $180) pair of Technics RP-DJ1200s, they've lasted for at least 3 years, take everything I throw at them, and sound 90% as good as the Sonys. Plus they don't look like anything special, so I don't have to worry about someone ripping them off my head while I'm asleep on the train ---- Valves and transistors in headphones? I'd like to see that.
Nice phones you got there, I agree, I would be willing to pay a lot for a pair of headphones 100% perfect for me, and the skullcandy ones I have now are almost 100% perfect
Some people don't know when to stop though... My friend has a pair of those insano HD 650 Senns (apx $500), which are nice for impressing middle aged audiophiles in cardigans, but I can't hear the difference between them and my cheap Technics. I try, but I can't. At least I'm getting easier to please in my old age, and can buy cheaper headphones these days - now that my ears have started the 'dumbening' I bought some FAKE Sennheiser CS300 earphones from eBay last week for $20 (I knew what I was buying), and they actually sound OK. I usually use my old Shure e2cs when I'm riding my bike or walking around, but these nasty fake Sennheisers sound nearly as good when cycling through the bush with trees hitting you in the face
Yeah, there is a guide that comes with it. It says for example you can listen to it for 8 hours at 60 Decibels but only 1 hour at 100 Decibels.
