    Hi,

    I am going crazy???!!

Why can't I get back my PageRank, or even a PR1? .... When I first lost my PR, I realized some problems that I need to fix inorded to get it back....

    - adding "re=nofollow" to sponsored review posts.
    - Not participating in a link farm "linkbuilding"!

I fixed them, but still I can't get a PR.... so why is that, what else am I doing wrong?!

    here is my blog: www.roseatemarketingtips.com

    please help!

    Thanks,
    Roseate

Well, actually you have PageRank - it is 0. You need just more age and more backlinks for your blog.

    didn't realize that!!
No, it's not age or backlinks, as I had a PR3 on this same blog, while it's backlinks where less than now!

    you have 2 ways:

1 you have to add more high pr back links now, even though, you have to wait about 6 months or so to get your pr back.

    2 change a new domain.

Anyway, nofollow should help. Just wait and keep building good links. You may also try to reduce number of outgoing links from your homepage.

You need to do a reconsideration request from Google after having fixed the followed links to nofollows.

Add your site on GOogle Webmaster Tools..... verify that you're the owner of the site through their verifcation process.

Then when you are on Google webmaster Tool, on the right hand side, under "Tools" is "Reconsideration Request." Click that.... and explain to them why you think you have the penalty (what u explain above) and that you fixed it, and to please reconsider.

    Your problem:

You are being seen as a spam document, plus you have a an absolute "ton" of code in your pages, each post has 23 links to social bookmarking sites times by 10 posts per page = 230 outbound links "just" in social bookmarking links/buttons.

These are Dofollow and this is roughly how big each URL is, now times this by 230 links per page:

This 230 outbounds is not including all your other Dofollow links, this is "not" ok. Dump the spammy Meta keyword stuffing, and use http://www.addthis.com for your social bookmarking buttons instead, it will be 1 simple line of Javascript per post.

Then you will get your Pagerank back.

    Hi sweetfunny,

Thanks so much for these info. :)

I have redused my Meta keyword, about 50% ... hope that is enough?!

Also used the "addthis" instead of my previous social plugin... Didn't know that I had this much "dofollow" outgoing links from it before!!

How could this be solved? .. I think it may be from my new theme?! ... any thing at my site that you think is causing delay in download??

That's much better, you can also remove the Digg, Stumble, Delicious links because that's in the Addthis button now.

The reason your site takes so long to load as because of the dozens of external connections it makes. It connects to Adsense, Statcounter, Bluehost, Payperpost, Blogrolling, Tinyurl, Alexa Mybloglog, Blogcatalogue, Technorati, Google Analytics, Ontoplist, Wordpress.com, Entrecard, Msnmoneygirl, and a stack of other sites.

Actually you have 44 objects on the page. So you site isn't that slow, connecting and waiting for so many other sites with http requests is what's dragging you down.

Punch your URL in here: http://www.websiteoptimization.com/services/analyze/index.html

It will show you all the things taking time.

you need to build more backlinks than before because google robots detect when you stop building links to your site google will decrease or remove your pr on the next update.

Get rid of the spam measures, do not over do it. I have seen a few sites who went this way pushing the limit on spamming with content, links etc and most got dropped eventually and took 12 to 24 to get back in.

well you need to focus more on link building for your site, like directory submission, article submission, social bookmarkings, and try to do a link exchange to related sites.
