For the last 7 days I've had 400 Clicks for $18 ! Now awhile ago I would get maby $50 or $100 for that. I've gone from around $10/day to very low like $2 a day with the same clicks. Is july just a bad month for anyone else here?
I could be wrong but this is probably because more people are learning how to decrease their cost of ppc using SEO methods and such. So this would effect adsense people too. I would say to counter this just put up more adsense sites up.
Same here. My average CPC is about $0.08. I have many sites blocked with the ad filter but recently I read one thread here that someone reported less earnings with filter in place. So I'm doing a little experiment. I removed the filter. No improvement till now. Lets see a few more days.
The last week my amount per click is down 50% with no end in site. There is nothing you can do but ride the storm or build more sites.
Yes, it's happening, this is the problem with affiliate marketing for most of the type, you are always dependent on the companies who pay you the commission, you are not your own business who sell products and services. AdSense is dying, we all know that because Google is moving from their CPC strategy towards Cost Per Action strategy, you can notice it by their recent purchase of Double Click Performics, they are doing a re-branding to it to Google Affiliate Network. You can also notice the shut down for Google referrals. This situation will put many known affiliate networks in a hard possition, networks such as Cj, LinkShare, etc. will need to enhance their programs, there will be much more competition and affiliates will benefit from it as well. I also see the coming of a major player like Google to the "Affiliate Network" niche as crucial for the competition in that niche. I believe that many new networks will pop up, and many others will die eventually unless they will develop new features and offer a better service.
Good analysis Wounded1987. While I don't believe adsense is "dying" or getting scrapped, Google affiliate network will ultimately be a good thing for affiliates.
