Hi guys, I have a problem, several of my sites have PR0. What does that mean exactly? I read somewhere that it means my sites are banned by Google. What do I do? How do I get it from being banned? Help! Dapplebub
First, they have not been banned. PR0 is the starting point. Now if they had page rank say PR4 and it went to 0 you should worry. It will be the programming techniques you are using that will cause this. Second, there is rumor of a PR update taking place. And as a side effect, the Green bar moves all over. Don't worry. If you are not cross linking between you sites (Google will bust you - Common Hosting IP subnet)... If you are not cloking... Then you are not banned. Just wait this out. If your sites are less than 6 months old, this is normal. It's called the Google "sandbox".
PR 0 means: - page isn`t banned, it is indexed and has PageRank, though it is 0 from 10 - according to Google algorithms page has low importance (new site or lack of backlinks) - may be an indication of penalty if reduced to 0 from higher number Banned/deindexed sites show usually grey bar (not ranked)
Ignore the pagerank and keep building great content. And by the way PR0 means your site is still new or hasn't been updated yet
Where did you read that PR0 means your site is banned? Can you post that link over here? I have not heard that PR0 means your site is banned. At initial stage your site is assigned PR0 when you have started SEO on any site after some time it is assigned PR0 from Grey bar.
pr 0 means not your site band. google show many factor for your site and after give pr,like how old your domain name, quality of back link, site content ....
I would suggest that you open a Webmaster Tools account for the domain and see what that feedback tells you.
if you have PR 0 then it's not means you are banned from Google just check your site cache if it cache regularly then it's going well and can you tell us how many old domain you have
PRO doesn't mean that you're banned in Google. it's your starting point for you to work to have a higher PR.
I guess I freak out too easily... I'm gonna work on my content, sign up for Google Webmaster tools and calm down. Thanks for the advice guys, and for the reassurances.
