Anybody think digg.com will be bought by Google??

    If google doesn't buy Digg, it will create one.But to answer your question i think google will buy Digg,if you haven't noticed google is trying to rule the internet lately

    I head they were in the final stages of discussion .. most likely Google will buy it out. Like any thing thats new and popular on the net google would want it.

    yes, google will buy it..
    Google will buy everything on internet.
    Google will buy yahoo, microsoft, ibm, alexa, amazon, ebay etc.
    Everything means everything.. even my websites VV will be bought by google

    And after few years - Internet = Google = Monopoly :mad:

    I think Google would be better off starting a new site with the same concept as digg. it will save them millions of dollars also.

    I know what you mean, but if you have the money (which obviously, it's a drop in the bucket for them money wise), it saves years of time and development to take over and leverage an existing site.

    Anyway, we'll see what happens!

    Yeah why not, Google is buying everything else. Would probably be good if Google buys Digg. Might make it more democratic and transparent than it is now.
