After my week long suspension for thanking someone in the BST section, I am back! I would just like to say that the last week has been empty, devoid of my normal fix of digital point, and from now on I will make sure never to thank anyone again! MOG. back in town. hopefully not to be banned again.

I hope you learned from your mistake then. Shame you can't fill your life properly without DP. I'm pretty active here and can still find a lot to do without DP.

by that rationalle surely warning me about being nice, hence being nice, is also considered bumping? I mean, if every post that everybody makes must be fact filled and genuinly add something to the conversation, I think there are about another 50,000 members that should be boooooooteeed straight away. I also bet that if you take the average characters per post I would be in the top 10% of "quality" posters. But hey, whats done is done. lets draw a line under it and move on! MOG

The new rules are a bit tough, but need to be implemented to clear out the trash here. Welcome back MOG
I do think this rule is going too far. A better approach would be to double the points given with an infraction (as mods have mentioned the BST section is having problems) instead of banning reputed members for little mistakes.
thanks guys! I am not against the new rules per se, just the fact that those of us that dont read the general chat section, didnt know about it and got banned with really no prior warning. Also, the BST section just from an sql database point of view Im sure was getting out of control so needed some action, but the draconian banning of long term members is taking it a bit far IMO. Anyway, you live and learn. Im back. thats what matters!
